RPM Builds Successfully Installs Critical Storage Silos for Processed Lime Processing Facility
RPM Builds has successfully installed critical storage silos for a major Process Lime producer in Calera, Alabama. RPM Builds was selected by a the tank manufacturer to install a large-scale project for a client.
RPM Builds installed (12) 27’ diameter by 56’ tall bolted silos integrated into a support structure for the facility located in Alabama. The silos hold varying grades of limestone and weigh over 50 tons each. Utilizing a 400-ton crawler, RPM was able to critically lift and safely relocate the silos from a temporary pad to their final location. Our experienced team was able to effectively manage crews and coordinate with other contractors on the job site to build, fly, and set each silo in a limited space with the use of crane lifts. RPM Builds faced the challenge of a busy jobsite with limited space and are proud to have met and exceeded the expectations of the client. RPM Builds had the necessary knowledge and background to successfully complete large complex projects.
