RPM Builds employs two primary methods for installing bolted silos: Crane Lifting and Jacks. Both of these methods are reliable and ensure the secure attachment of the silo to the foundation. While there are other available methods like scaffold-built or built in place options, these two are our preferred methods.

The construction method utilizing jacks is a process used for installing flat panel silos that ensures both safety and optimal performance. This method is conducted mostly on the ground level and begins at the top with the deck and upper rings, and then each finished section is raised with a jack to make room to install the next 5' tall ring segment. The process concludes with the bottom ring section which is attached to the base ring assembly and then secured to the foundation with anchor bolts.

Crane hoisting is a method of lifting and transferring loads that can be beneficial in certain situations. In this method, cranes, scaffolding, gin-poles, and air-tuggers are used instead of jacks. This is particularly useful for projects such as "canning" and stacking of unbraced silo sections, as the external mounting flange provides rigidity and allows for easily accessible bolting connections from the outside. It is important to take into account hoisting and rigging when using this method for success and safety.
